We are quite excited by the amount of regrowth we've been seeing whilst keeping an eye on the Mallee for the last 3 years. The interesting thing to see now is how healthy and how many new Mallee stems would turn into potential Didgeridoos. A natural selection is occuring, and the harvested Mallee stump is exposed to the elements.
We will be able to show you and compare the different stages leading to the raising of new hollow stems.
This is something important to us, to be able to see how sustainable Didgeridoo harvesting is, and to see what are the factors involved in leading to recovery.
